The DuPage Airport Authority develops a yearly Capital Improvement Program encompassing DuPage Airport and Prairie Landing Golf Club capital improvement projects, as well as many major maintenance projects to existing capital assets. As the prime engineering consultant d’Escoto was responsible for assisting the Authority as directed with planning, design, and construction phase services, program management, budget analysis and other technical resources and processes necessary to implement planned capital improvements.
d’Escoto, Inc. provided preliminary estimates and schedules to the DuPage Airport Authority for the extension of Runway 2R-20L and the rehabilitation of Runway 10-28. d’Escoto, Inc. also provided construction engineering and field inspection services for each project.
For the Corporate Storage Hangar, d’Escoto, Inc. provided cost estimating services for the preparation of front-end documents necessary for a successful design-build project.
d’Escoto, Inc. also provided on-call engineering and cost estimating services for the following projects under this contract:
• Apron and hangar pavement repairs
• Airside drainage maintenance projects
• Taxiway pavement removal and replacement
• Maintenance building expansion and mezzanine storage creation
• Access control and fence restoration
• Crack filling, sealcoating, and striping of various parking of various parking lots
• Prairie Landing Golf Club sinkhole investigation and drainage remediation options
