The Discovery Partners Institute (DPI) project is a global advanced research and innovation center being developed through the University of Illinois System. It will be a part of the Illinois Innovation Network (INN) which will be in the South Loop and part of Chicago’s “78-Development”. The project aims to progress Chicago into a superior and inclusive tech economy over the next decade by attracting companies through its high-tech campus. DPI will prepare diverse students and workers to step into high-demand tech jobs, build research teams and match them with new funding. The project will attract, develop, and utilize prospective people and companies to retain them.
