This project involves the inspection of new construction of major fueling infrastructure modernization work at O’Hare International Airport. This includes over 300’ of new fuel piping, hydrant pits, earthwork, valve vaults, existing fuel pipe abandonment, and all other necessary infrastructure to support the fueling construction associated with this project. This project is one Task Order included in the “Fuel System Improvement Program Terminal Area Plan”. This program is designed to modernize the fuel systems at Chicago O’Hare international Airport in accordance with current EPA standards and modern technology.
d’Escoto is providing construction field inspection services for O’Hare Fuel Company, LLC. as a subcontractor to the Pram Manager, J. A. Watts, Inc. Our responsibilities start with the monitoring and coordination of field staff (approximately 25 individuals) on 2 separate construction teams. Our staff also documents and submits all daily reports to the Project Management Team. Additionally, at weekly construction progress meetings, we present to contractors, subcontractors, the O’Hare Fuel Committee, CDA, and O’Hare International Airport personnel on the ongoing status of this project.
